Behandlungseinheit erleichtert die Kommunikation mit Patienten
Die Behandlungseinheiten von Dentsply Sirona sind darauf ausgelegt, zahlreiche Funktionen und Werkzeuge zu integrieren, die höchste Standards erfüllen. Dieser Artikel beschreibt, wie die Patientenkommunikation und das Vertrauen durch die Integration bildgebender Systeme in die Behandlungseinheit verbessert werden.
Einer der Vorteile, zahlreiche Lösungen aus einer Hand bereitzustellen, besteht darin, dass mehrere Geschäftseinheiten zusammenarbeiten können, um Lösungen zu schaffen, mit denen der Kunde noch besser bedient werden kann. Ein Beispiel dafür ist die Integration bildgebender Systeme in die Behandlungseinheit. Das Röntgengerät Heliodent von Dentsply Sirona kann in die Behandlungseinheit eingebaut werden und ermöglicht so die Anfertigung von Aufnahmen im Behandlungsstuhl. Die Patienten müssen dazu nicht einmal aufstehen und das Zimmer verlassen. Dies kann z. B. bei Wurzelbehandlungen besonders vorteilhaft sein, bei denen zahlreiche Röntgenaufnahmen notwendig sind. Dabei wäre es wesentlich komplizierter und unbequemer, wenn die Patienten mehrfach von der Behandlungseinheit aufstehen müssten. Auf ähnliche Weise lassen sich mit SiroCam auch intraorale Aufnahmen an der Behandlungseinheit anfertigen, so dass auch der Patient sehen kann, was der Arzt sieht.
In der letzten Imaging Summer School in Bensheim berichtete Dr. Freier, eine Zahnärztin mit eigener Praxis in Bad Soden, welche Vorteile sich für ihre Patienten durch die Integration bildgebender Funktionen in die Behandlungseinheit von Dentsply Sirona ergeben und wie sie damit den Patienten einfacher erklären kann, weshalb sie eine bestimmte Behandlung empfiehlt. In einem ihrer Beispiele ging es um einen Patienten, der einen Termin für die Anfertigung einer neuen Krone hatte.

Die Kavität unter der alten Krone war so tief, dass wir den Zahn nicht erhalten konnten. Somit wurde aus der Krone plötzlich ein Termin zur Implantatplanung. Eine solche Entscheidung kann schnell als Abzocke empfunden werden, da der Zahnarzt daran viel mehr verdient. In diesem Fall konnte der Patient jedoch den schlimmen Zustand des Zahnes selbst sehen und akzeptierte den neuen Behandlungsplan mit einem guten Gefühl, sodass keine Diskussionen notwendig waren.
Die Bildverarbeitungssoftware Sidexis 4 kann direkt auf dem Monitor der Behandlungseinheit aufgerufen werden. Alle Röntgenbilder und intraoralen Aufnahmen lassen sich in einem Programm kombinieren und können zusammen zur Dokumentation und insbesondere zur Erklärung herangezogen werden, während der Patient auf der Behandlungseinheit sitzt. Dr. Freier merkt an: “Je nach Problemstellung bzw. Behandlung kann ich spezielle Bilder auswählen oder Behandlungstermine planen. Das ist für mich sehr bequem, da ich nicht ständig in verschiedenen Systemen suchen muss.”
Die Behandlungseinheit bildet das Herzstück der Zahnarztpraxis. Mit den Einheiten von Dentsply Sirona soll die Kommunikation zwischen Patient und Zahnarzt erleichtert werden. Eine verbesserte Kommunikation führt zu einem besseren Verständnis der geplanten Behandlung und größerem Vertrauen zwischen Patient und Zahnarzt.
