Kreativ, überraschend, innovativ: Aktionstag zum Diversity Day 2019.
Bunte Limonaden-Cocktails in Bensheim, kleine Köstlichkeiten aus aller Welt in München: Mit vielseitigen Aktionen hat Dentsply Sirona in Deutschland am 28. Mai die Vielfalt im Unternehmen gefeiert.
Mit mehr als 40 Standorten weltweit und allein in Deutschland rund 3.000 Mitarbeitern aus 54 unterschiedlichen Nationen ist Vielfalt gelebter Alltag bei Dentsply Sirona. An den einzelnen Standorten wurde der Tag gemeinsam als Team begangen. Vielfalt ist erlebbar, lautete das Motto der bunten Aktionen. Dass Vielfalt im doppelten Sinn kostbar ist, zeigten kulinarische Überraschungen in der Mittagspause: In München lockte ein Büffet mit kleinen selbst zubereiteten Köstlichkeiten – vom polnischen Krauteintopf Bigos über die mexikanische Guacamole bis zum vietnamesischen Bananenbrot. In Bensheim probierten sich die Kolleginnen und Kollegen durch ein internationales Speisenangebot in der Kantine und selbst kreierte Limonaden-Variationen mit Zutaten aus den unterschiedlichsten Teilen der Welt.

Potenziale fördern
„Der Diversity Day ist für uns ein schöner Anlass, um an den Standorten ein Zeichen für Vielfalt und Toleranz zu setzen. Die Tatsache, dass sich so viele Kolleginnen und Kollegen an den Aktionen beteiligen, zeigt, dass Vielfalt unsere Stärke ist“, so Michael Geil, Standortleiter Bensheim. Vielfalt, die Dentsply Sirona im Sinne von #OwnOurFuture gezielt fördert: Mit Weiterbildungsangeboten und Talententwicklungsprogrammen stehen den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern vielseitige Karriere- und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten offen.
Vielfalt ist unsere größte Stärke als Unternehmen. Chancengleichheit ist deshalb ein selbstverständlicher Teil unserer Unternehmenskultur – unabhängig von Alter, kultureller und ethnischer Zugehörigkeit, Religion oder sexueller Orientierung. Fotocollage und Länderquiz
Sichtbar wurde die Vielfalt in einer Fotocollage rund um das Thema Diversity, zusammengestellt von den Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus ganz Deutschland. Außerdem ließen die Teams aus ihren Ideen zum Thema Diversity mit Fingerfarben auf Leinwänden ein buntes Bild entstehen.
Bei einer Glücksrad-Aktion mit Länderquiz waren in Bensheim und München Geografiekenntnisse gefragt: Hier konnten die Teilnehmer mehr über den kulturellen Hintergrund ihrer Kollegen erfahren und zeigen, wie gut sie sich in der Welt auskennen.
Ein buntes Zeichen für Vielfalt setzte der Standort Bensheim mit einer Luftballon-Aktion. Als Schlusspunkt des Tages ließen die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter die farbenfrohen Ballons in den Himmel steigen. Jeder Ballon geht mit einer Antwortkarte auf die Reise. Jetzt heißt es abwarten, welcher Ballon den weitesten Weg zurücklegt und seinen „Absender“ damit zum Gewinner macht. Eines ist jetzt schon klar: Der Diversity Day bei Dentsply Sirona macht von sich reden.
