Der Doppelstandort Hanau ist das Produktions- und Kompetenzzentrum für die innovativen Dentalmaterialien Cercon und Celtra.
Was haben Love und Kiss mit Zahnersatz zu tun? Hinter den klangvollen Bezeichnungen stehen zwei innovative Keramiksysteme und weltweit gefragte Produktlösungen von Dentsply Sirona in Hanau und Rosbach. Mit natürlicher und sicherer Farberscheinung tragen die Keramiken für ästhetische Restaurationen dazu bei, dass Menschen wieder unbeschwert lächeln können.
30 Jahre Erfahrung
„Hanau und Rosbach im Taunus sind für den Bereich Dentsply Sirona Lab ein eingespieltes Duo“, so Jörg Meister, Director Operations. „Teilschritte der Produktion erfolgen in Rosbach, in Hanau dann die finale Produktion – das ist perfekte Teamarbeit.“ In der Betriebsstätte Rosbach entwickelt und produziert Dentsply Sirona seit über 30 Jahren Verblendkeramiken. Zu den Innovationen im Bereich der modernen vollkeramischen Hochleistungswerkstoffe gehören Cercon (Zirkonoxid) und Celtra (hochfeste zirkonoxidverstärkte Glaskeramik).
In Rosbach laufen alle Fäden des gesamten Herstellungsprozesses zusammen: von der Entwicklung über die Rohstoffauswahl, die Herstellung von Vor- und Zwischenprodukten bis zur notwendigen Einfärbung, Konfektionierung und Auslieferung der Keramiken an das DS-Logistikzentrum Venlo. Unterstützt wird das Team von Dentsply Sirona Kollegen an unterschiedlichen Standorten. „Diese kurzen Prozess- und Abstimmungswege machen uns über den gesamten Prozess hinweg flexibel und schnell“, so Betriebsleiter Thomas Dötterl.
Spezialisten für jeden Produktionsschritt
Was später im Dentallabor zu einer Krone oder Brücke wird, beginnt mit den Materialien, die in Rosbach produziert werden. Dahinter steht ein Team, das die einzelnen Prozessschritte mit dem nötigen Fachwissen begleitet. „Verblendkeramiken werden auf unterschiedlichsten metallischen Gerüstwerkstoffen wie zum Beispiel den von Dentsply Sirona hergestellten Edelmetalllegierungen Degunorm, BiOcclus und Degudent H sowie Nichtedelmetalllegierungen wie Starloy C verwendet, die der Krone oder Brücke einen stabilen Unterbau verleihen“, erklärt Peter Kreuder, Manager Anwendungstechnik.
Jeder Schritt hat seine Spezialisten: Seit 18 Jahren gehört Björn Pernstecher zum Team der Produktion & Arbeitsvorbereitung für Cercon und Celtra Rohstoffgemenge. Hier werden die „Zutaten“ für die Rezepturen der jeweiligen Keramiken zusammengestellt.
Man ist hier immer wieder mit neuen Herausforderungen und Aufgaben konfrontiert, das ist das Tolle an der Arbeit. Wir haben hier moderne Maschinen, die uns insbesondere bei Hebearbeiten unterstützen. Bei uns werden immer wieder Arbeitsprozesse überprüft, um Verbesserungen zu erzielen.
Die Herstellung von Dentalkeramiken umfasst häufig verschiedene keramische Zwischenprodukte, um die finalen Anforderungen von der Verblendkeramik – darunter fallen auch die Kiss- und Love-Keramiksysteme – erfüllen zu können. In der Produktion ist Thorsten Goetza dafür zuständig, das Keramikpulver bei einer vorgegebenen Temperatur zu brennen. „Anschließend werden die Keramikplatten im Wasserbad abgeschreckt und in verschiedenen Mühlen zu weiteren Pulvervorstufen weiterverarbeitet“, erläutert Thorsten Goetza. „Am Ende dieser Prozesskette stehen unterschiedlichste Keramikmassen, die letztendlich im Dentallabor die Basis für ein neues strahlendes Lächeln bilden“, so Claudia Hofmann, Zahntechnikerin Anwendungstechnik.
Im Sinterofen entsteht ein keramisches Zwischenprodukt für die Produktion (01). Die rot glühende Keramikplatte (02) wird aus dem Ofen entnommen und im kalten Wasserbad abgeschreckt (03). Anschließend erfolgt die Weiterverarbeitung in speziellen Mühlen zu Pulver. Beispiel Celtra Ceram: Unterschiedlichste Keramikmassen und Malfarben sind nach einem komplexen Herstellungsprozess die Basis für ein neues strahlendes Lächeln (04).
Von Rosbach über Venlo in die ganze Welt
Von Rosbach aus werden die Keramikmassen für den weltweiten Vertrieb zunächst in das DS Logistikzentrum nach Venlo geschickt. Eduard Esch, Gruppenleiter Konfektionierung und Verpackung, stellt die Produkte und Warensendungen zusammen, zum Beispiel einzelne Keramikmassen wie Dentin, Schneide und Effektmassen, bis hin zu kompletten Keramiksortimenten insbesondere für Neukunden. „Wir sind 14 Kolleginnen und Kollegen, da ist Kommunikation das A & O. Jeder muss sich auf den anderen verlassen können. Denn schließlich ist ja die Verblendoder Vollkeramik letztendlich das Sahnehäubchen der Ästhetik. Wir investieren viel Zeit in die Prozessoptimierung, so dass unsere Kunden die Produkte schnell und zuverlässig geliefert bekommen“, betont Eduard Esch.
