Leckeres aus aller Welt bildete den kulinarischen Rahmen für den diesjährigen Diversity-Tag: Das Betriebsrestaurant servierte Kostproben aus dem Kochbuch „Aufgetischt bei uns in der Region“, für das Mitarbeiter Rezepte aus der direkten Nachbarschaft und aller Welt zusammengestellt haben. Offenheit, Chancengleichheit und Vielfalt sind in der Unternehmenskultur von Dentsply Sirona fest verankert. Jeder Mitarbeiter wird durch individuelle Weiterbildungsangebote und Talententwicklungsprogramme individuell gefördert.
Das Unternehmen unterstützt darüber hinaus gezielt Frauen auf ihrem Karriereweg, zum Beispiel durch das „Women Inspired Network“ (WIN). Anlässlich des diesjährigen Diversity-Tags stand daher auch WIN im Fokus: Das Netzwerk bietet Mitarbeiterinnen aus der ganzen Welt durch gezieltes Coaching, Weiterbildungen und die Vernetzung untereinander eine Plattform für die berufliche Entwicklung. „Der Austausch mit anderen Frauen in Führungspositionen hat mich auf jeden Fall noch einmal weitergebracht“, so die Bilanz von Andrea Harreus, Head of Projects, Applications & IT Quality Services, die in diesem Jahr am WIN-Programm teilgenommen hat.
Auch Mina Tabibi-Bradshaw, Marketing Manager CAD/CAM für Asien und Lateinamerika in Bensheim, erklärt: „Im WIN-Programm entwickle ich besonders meine Führungskompetenzen weiter. Aber auch die Internationalität und Offenheit von Dentsply Sirona haben mir meine Karriere in Peking, Hongkong und schließlich hier in Bensheim ermöglicht.“ Über ein Jahr hinweg erarbeiten die Teilnehmerinnen in regelmäßigen Gruppentreffen und Workshops auch Projektarbeiten. Das Netzwerk vermittelt somit theoretisches wie praktisches Wissen für die berufliche Weiterentwicklung und wächst durch die Erfahrungen der Mitglieder beständig weiter. Im vergangenen Jahr hat Dentsply Sirona die Teilnehmerzahl von WIN vervierfacht und das Budget verzehnfacht.
Neue Chancen eröffnen
Durch den Zusammenschluss von DENTSPLY und Sirona ist das Unternehmen noch vielfältiger und internationaler geworden. Es eröffnen sich somit auch weitere Chancen, Mitarbeitern neue Entwicklungs- und Karrierechancen zu ermöglichen. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt lag daher beim Diversity-Tag auf dem „Global Leadership Development Program“: Frauen und Männer mit Führungspotenzial werden weltweit im Rahmen des 18-monatigen Programms in ihrer Entwicklung gefördert. Als Mentoren stehen ihnen dabei erfahrene Führungskräfte zur Seite, die die Teilnehmer mit individueller Beratung und speziellen Workshops unterstützen.
Birgit Möller sprach beim Diversity-Tag über ihren ganz persönlichen Karriereweg, der sie über Stationen in Controlling, Vertrieb und Marketing sowie Auslandsaufenthalte in ihre heutige Position als Director Product Management Dental CAD/CAM Systems (CEREC) geführt hat. Für die Produktmanagement-Leiterin war vor allem die Unterstützung durch Führungskräfte ein wichtiger Faktor – heute ermutigt sie Kollegen in ihrem Team, neue Wege zu gehen.
