Smart und vielseitig: Innovationen für die Füllungstherapie
Mit der SphereTEC-Technologie und SmartLite Pro geht der Bereich Restorative neue Wege in Funktion und Design.
Schon das Verpackungsdesign mit der blauen „Sphäre“ ist ein Hingucker: Die innovative Füllertechnologie SphereTEC ist eines der Aushängeschilder des Restorative-Standorts Konstanz. Dank SphereTEC lassen sich mit dem Produktklassiker Ceram.x Spectra ST sphärische und bereits vorpolymerisierte Füllkörper herstellen, die neue Standards in Verarbeitung und effizienter Ästhetik setzen. Jetzt kann diese Technologie für eine noch größere Bandbreite an Füllungsmaterialien eingesetzt werden. Erstmals ist es am Standort Konstanz gelungen, die Universalkomposit-Linie Ceram.x Spectra ST in einer fließfähigen Variante anzubieten: Ceram.x Spectra ST flow. „Der Arbeitsablauf ist sehr komfortabel. Denn der Flow-on-Demand-Effekt sorgt dafür, dass sich das Komposit einfach an die Kavitätenwände adaptiert und der Zahnarzt das Fließverhalten präzise kontrollieren kann“, erklärt Laura Olenderski, Global Brand Manager Universal Composites. „Ceram.x Spectra ST flow rundet das globale Komposit- Portfolio ab und wird auch den Markt Anteil von Dentsply Sirona im Flowable-Segment erheblich ausbauen“, so Olenderski weiter.
Smart und elegant präsentiert sich eine weitere Neuheit: die SmartLite Pro. Die Polymerisationslampe härtet Füllungsmaterial effektiver als je zuvor und eignet sich dank des modularen Konzepts mit schnell austauschbaren Aufsätzen für eine Vielzahl von klinischen Anwendungen. Die vier LEDs der Aushärtungslampe sorgen für eine gleichmäßige Lichtverteilung über den gesamten Zahnbereich. Durch ein besonders großes Lichtaustrittsfenster von zehn Millimetern Durchmesser lassen sich auch größere Füllungen vollständig abdecken; der perfekt gebündelte Lichtstrahl sorgt selbst bei tiefen Füllungen für eine verlässliche Durchhärtung des Komposits. Ein zusätzlicher Transilluminations-Aufsatz macht als Diagnosehilfe zur Durchleuchtung des Zahns beginnende Karies oder Frakturen durch ein auf einen Millimeter fokussiertes Licht erkennbar. „Das Produkt ist als Plattform-Technologie für die Zukunft bestens aufgestellt, da die SmartLite Pro mit weiteren Aufsatz-Entwicklungen nachgerüstet werden kann“, so Michael Kleinhaus, Senior Global Brand Manager Accessories.
