Ceram.x Spectra ST flow überzeugt Kunden als fließfähiges Komposit mit SphereTEC Füllertechnologie.
Die Füllertechnologie SphereTEC ist für den Standort Konstanz eine große Erfolgsgeschichte. Mit dem fließfähigen Universalkomposit Ceram.x Spectra ST flow hat das Komposit-Portfolio zuletzt weiteren Zuwachs bekommen.
Für den Bereich Restorative am Standort Konstanz ist die Produktneuheit nicht nur ein Aushängeschild, sondern auch ein wichtiger Baustein für die strategische Ausrichtung. Schließlich stellen Flowables nach den Universalkompositen das zweitgrößte Marktsegment bei den Füllungsmaterialien dar. „Ein Flow mit einem derart breiten Anwendungsspektrum bietet uns die Chance, Marktführer in diesem Segment zu werden“, sagt Michael Anders, Senior Produktmanager für Füllungsmaterialien in Konstanz. Knapp ein Jahr ist das Flowable mittlerweile auf dem Markt. Die Ergebnisse einer Langzeitnutzer-Evaluation haben die Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen: Alle Anwender bewerteten die Handhabung bis jetzt entweder mit „sehr gut“ (74 Prozent) und „gut“ (26 Prozent).
Neue Standards in der Verarbeitung
SphereTEC wurde als innovative Füllertechnologie für Schichtkomposite am Standort Konstanz entwickelt. 2015 erfolgte die erste Markteinführung mit Ceram.x universal. Das Besondere an der Technologie: Vorpolymerisierte sphärische Füllkörper bieten herausragende Handhabungseigenschaften und setzen so neue Standards in Verarbeitung und effizienter Ästhetik. „Pünktlich zur IDS 2019 konnten wir das neue Flowable mit SphereTEC Technologie auf den Markt bringen. Es sollte sämtliche Anforderungen erfüllen, die unsere Kunden an ein ideales Flowable stellen“, so Michael Anders. Dazu gehört auch ein komfortabler Arbeitsablauf durch den Flow-on-Demand-Effekt: Der Zahnarzt kann das Fließverhalten des Materials präzise kontrollieren. Hinzu kommt ein einzigartiger „Chamäleon-Effekt“ für die Zahnfarbgebung: „Durch diesen Effekt benötigen wir nur fünf CLOUD-Shades, um das gesamte VITA-Farbspektrum mit 16 Shades abdecken zu können“, so Anders.
