Mit dem neuen Lehrgang Rundschleifen erweitert Dentsply Sirona die technische Berufsausbildung am Standort Bensheim.
Der Lehrgang Rundschleifen ergänzt in Zukunft die Ausbildung der Industrie und Zerspanungsmechaniker in Bensheim. „Gerade im Geschäftsbereich Instrumente kommt die Metall-Schleiftechnik zum Einsatz. Um unseren Kunden die entsprechenden Kompetenzen anbieten zu können, ist die Rundschleiftechnik daher der logische Schritt“, erklärt Holger Weitzel, verantwortlicher Ausbilder für die Rundschleiftechnik.
Bereichsübergreifendes Teamwork
Im ersten Schritt erfolgte eine Sicht- und Testphase verschiedener Rundschleifmaschinen. „Die Auswahl einer geeigneten Maschine ist für die Ausbildung besonders wichtig. Neben Kriterien wie Maschinenqualität und Fertigungsgenauigkeit ist für die Ausbildung vor allem eine gute und leicht zu erlernende Bedienbarkeit relevant“, so Ausbilder Holger Weitzel, der zur Vorbereitung auch einen Schleiflehrgang in der Schweiz besuchte und anschließend ein Lehrgangskonzept erstellte, das auf die Berufsausbildung am Standort perfekt zugeschnitten ist.
Die Projektierung erfolgte gemeinsam mit Rainer Selzer vom Geschäftsbereich Instrumente. „Für die Auswahl einer geeigneten Maschine und des richtigen Zubehörs war diese Unterstützung entscheidend. Das Projekt zeigt, wie wichtig eine enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen Fachbereich und Ausbildung ist“, ergänzt Weitzel.
Die ersten Praxislehrgänge wurden bereits erfolgreich absolviert und stießen bei den Auszubildenden auf großes Interesse. Nach der Vermittlung der wichtigsten Grundkenntnisse sowie einer umfangreichen Sicherheitsunterweisung wurden diverse Werkstücke mit Zylinderformen, Kegeln und Einstichen in verschiedenen Aufspannungen geschliffen. Inzwischen können die Auszubildenden ihr Fachwissen auch im Abteilungseinsatz unter Beweis stellen.
Die Ergänzung unserer Fachausbildung durch die Schleiftechnik stellt uns für die Zukunft perfekt auf.

Ausbildungsleiter Reinhard Pfeifer: „Wir arbeiten mit den Fachabteilungen eng zusammen, um auf Wünsche und Veränderungen eingehen und bei neuen Techniken am Puls der Zeit sein zu können. So bereiten wir unsere Auszubildenden bestmöglich auf das Berufsleben vor und sichern qualifizierten Nachwuchs für unsere Fachabteilungen.“
