Rund 150 Schülerinnen und Schüler nutzten die 2. Nacht der Ausbildung als Einblick ins Berufsleben und lernten Ausbildungsangebote und Studiengänge kennen.
Reger Betrieb herrschte bei der 2. Nacht der Ausbildung auf dem Gelände von Dentsply Sirona in Bensheim. Unter dem Motto „Entdecke deine Zukunft“ nutzten rund 150 Bergsträßer Schülerinnen und Schüler die Gelegenheit, mit Auszubildenden, Studierenden und Ausbildern ins Gespräch zu kommen und dabei das vielfältige Angebot an Ausbildungsberufen und Dualen Studiengängen bei Dentsply Sirona kennenzulernen.
Großes Interesse bei Jugendlichen
Im Ausbildungsgebäude stellte ein Team von 21 Auszubildenden und fünf Ausbilderinnen und Ausbildern seinen Gästen die Berufsfelder Mechatroniker/in, Industriemechaniker/ in, Fachinformatiker/in Fachrichtung Systemintegration und Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik an einzelnen Stationen vor. „Wir haben bei der Premiere des Veranstaltungsformats im vergangenen Jahr gemerkt, wie groß das Interesse an praxisnahen Berufsinformationen ist. Die Schülerinnen und Schüler können direkt Fragen stellen und in vielen Bereichen einfach einmal selbst ausprobieren, was ihnen liegt“, erzählt Ausbildungsleiter Reinhard Pfeifer.

Spaß beim Staplerfahren
Die Praxis kam auch in diesem Jahr nicht zu kurz: An der Station Automatisierungs- und Steuerungstechnik konnten die Gäste mit dem Tec2Screen ausprobieren, wie sich Steuerungstechnik mittels Tablets bedienen lässt. Außerdem wurden die Möglichkeiten der Robotik anhand komplexer Programmierabläufe vorgestellt. Seit vergangenem Jahr verstärkt das innovative Technikfeld das Ausbildungsportfolio am Standort. Handwerkliches Geschick war an der Station der CNC-Drehund Frästechnik gefragt. „Wer wollte, konnte selbst einen kleinen Kreisel an den Dreh- und Fräsmaschinen herstellen“, erklärt Konrad Schäfer. In der Lagerlogistik hatten die Auszubildenden eigens einen Parcours aufgebaut, durch den die Schülerinnen und Schüler einen ferngesteuerten Gabelstapler fahren lassen konnten. „Uns war wichtig, zu zeigen, was eine moderne Logistikstruktur ausmacht. Im Alltag kommen viele Industrie-4.0-Komponenten zum Einsatz, und das macht diesen Job wirklich spannend“, so Jannik Richter.
Die Nacht der Ausbildung ist ein ideales Format, um uns als Arbeitgeber vorzustellen, der jungen Menschen vielseitige Jobmöglichkeiten und Karriereperspektiven eröffnet.
Großes Interesse bestand auch an den Dualen Studienmöglichkeiten. So berichteten Studierende, was genau sich hinter den einzelnen Studiengängen eigentlich verbirgt. Ob im betriebswirtschaftlichen Zweig mit International Business, Industrie und International Management for Business and Information Technology oder in den technischen Bachelorstudiengängen mit Elektrotechnik, Informationstechnik, Maschinenbau und Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.
