Vormittags Teamassistentin bei Dentsply Sirona, in der Freizeit Hoffnungsträgerin bei den Flames: Pauline Radke ist auf vielen Gebieten erfolgreich.
Die Flames haben den Aufstieg in die 1. Handball-Bundesliga geschafft. Für Torfrau Pauline Radke beginnen nun spannende Monate. Die gebürtige Rostockerin hat ihren Vertrag bei der HSG Bensheim/Auerbach (Flames) um zwei weitere Jahre verlängert.
Als Erster gratulierte Michael Geil, Geschäftsführer am Dentsply Sirona Standort Bensheim und im „Nebenjob“ auch Geschäftsführer der Flames.
Der Aufstieg ist eine tolle Leistung des Teams. Ich freue mich sehr darüber und hoffe, dass Pauline die Flames noch lange bei ihren Erfolgen unterstützt.
Pauline selbst fühlt sich fünf Jahre nach ihrem Wechsel zu den Flames in Bensheim zu Hause. Ihr gefällt die familiäre Atmosphäre, bei den Flames ebenso wie bei Dentsply Sirona. Hier ist sie Teamassistentin in der Produktion von Röntgengeräten. Handball ist auch an ihrem Arbeitsplatz ein großes Thema: „Die Kollegen freuen sich mit den Flames über Erfolgserlebnisse und leiden mit uns nach Niederlagen.“
Der Wechsel in die erste Bundesliga bringt nun erhöhten Aufwand und mehr Training: „Das wird bestimmt ein schönes, aber auch hartes Jahr. Gut, dass mein Arbeitgeber da mitzieht, sonst wäre der Spagat nicht zu schaffen“, so Pauline.
„Die erste Liga stellt große Anforderungen an den Handballverein, auch finanzieller Art. So muss sich das Team mit erstligaerfahrenen Spielerinnen verstärken, um sich im Oberhaus etablieren zu können. Voraussetzung dafür ist auch eine solide und planbare finanzielle Basis. Dazu können und werden wir als Dentsply Sirona im Rahmen unseres Sponsorings beitragen“, freut sich Michael Geil.
