Gabelstapler, Hochregale, schwere Paletten: Das Arbeitsumfeld in der Logistik verlangt viel Aufmerksamkeit, um Unfälle zu vermeiden. Auszubildende des Bereichs Bensheim Materialmanagement Logistik (BML) haben jetzt im Rahmen einer Projektarbeit die wichtigsten Hinweise für den Logistikbereich in einem Informations- und Sicherheitsflyer anschaulich zusammengefasst.
Es ist wichtig, dass die Fachkräfte von morgen sich schon zu Beginn ihrer Ausbildung aktiv am Sicherheitskonzept im gesamten Logistikbereich beteiligen und dazu beitragen, dass die Arbeitsbedingungen noch sicherer werden.
Aufgabe der Auszubildenden war es, Gefahrenpotenziale zu identifizieren und zu dokumentieren sowie alle nötigen Informationen in einem einfach und verständlich gestalteten Sicherheitsflyer zusammenzustellen. So werden Warnzeichen, Verbots- und Gebotsschilder vorgestellt, alle wichtigen Rufnummern für den Notfall und Informationen zu Erster Hilfe und zur Rettungskette. „Beim Thema Sicherheit kann ein frischer Blick auf Prozesse und das Arbeitsumfeld wichtige Anregungen geben, was sich vielleicht besser machen lässt. So ist diese Projektarbeit eine echte Winwin-Situation“, sagt Norbert Göller.

Ein schematischer Flucht- und Rettungsplan der Bereiche Wareneingang, Hochregal und Versand macht mit den Rettungswegen sowie den Standorten von Verbandskästen, Augen- und Notduschen, Brandmeldern und Feuerlöschern vertraut. Im Kapitel Gefahren & Hinweise geht es um grundlegende Sicherheitsregeln im Arbeitsalltag der Logistik. Dazu gehören Vorschriften zu Betrieb und Routineprüfung von Flurförderzeugen ebenso wie für das sichere Arbeiten am Hochregal.
„Wir sind mit Blick auf Sicherheit und Arbeitsschutz schon sehr gut aufgestellt“, sagt Norbert Göller. „Größere Unfälle sind die absolute Ausnahme. Aber manchmal kann schon eine kleine Unachtsamkeit zu einer Verletzung führen. Umso wichtiger ist es, das Wissen zu Sicherheitsregeln immer wieder aufzufrischen und allen neuen Mitarbeitern zur Verfügung zu stellen.“ Der Sicherheitsflyer dient als Grundlage für die jährlichen Sicherheitsschulungen aller Mitarbeiter und ist fester Bestandteil bei der Einarbeitung neuer Mitarbeiter im Logistikbereich.
