Dentsply Sirona befindet sich inmitten einer bedeutenden Transformation. Wichtige Weichen wurden bereits gestellt, um Wachstum voranzutreiben, Organisationsstrukturen zu vereinfachen und den Kunden noch stärker in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen.
Das Projekt Växa (Schwedisch für „Wachstum“) hat in den vergangenen Monaten Gestalt angenommen. Mit Växa hat Dentsply Sirona eine Strategie vorgestellt, um die Effizienz der Organisation zu erhöhen und das volle Wachstumspotenzial auszuschöpfen. Die zugehörigen Initiativen sollen das Unternehmen und die Mitarbeiter dabei unterstützen, #OwnOurFuture mit Leben zu füllen. Das bedeutet, dass jeder einzelne der 16.000 Mitarbeiter die Zukunft von Dentsply Sirona mitgestaltet.

Zu Beginn des Jahres begann die Transformation – hin zu einem agileren, transparenteren und fokussierteren Unternehmen. Dazu gehört eine neue Struktur, die die SBUs in vier Dental Product Groups gliedert und die RCOs stärker regional ausrichtet. Erste wichtige Fortschritte wurden bereits erzielt, der Transformationsprozess ist dennoch als langjähriges Projekt angelegt. Das Unternehmen hat sich dazu verpflichtet, in den kommenden drei Jahren 260 Millionen US-Dollar zu erwirtschaften und den Umsatz um vier Prozentpunkte zu steigern. Langfristiges Ziel ist jedoch, dieses Wachstum nachhaltig zu gestalten. Die Transformation, die mit #OwnOurFuture angestoßen wurde, ist im Februar mit dem Start des Bottom Up Planning (BUP)-Prozesses in eine neue Phase eingetreten.

Was ist BUP?
Wenn es um die Identifizierung und Umsetzung der Veränderungsmaßnahmen geht, die diese Transformation ausmachen, ist jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter gefragt. Im BUP werden Initiativen identifiziert und die Durchführbarkeit und Entwicklung von Business Cases geprüft. BUP ist somit sehr integrativ und ermutigt und befähigt mehr Mitarbeiter, am Prozess teilzuhaben. In der aktuellen Phase geht es um die Umsetzung der Verbesserungsmaßnahmen, die Dentsply Sirona bereits für sich selbst festgelegt hat – insbesondere: den Fokus auf den Kunden legen, das Wachstum fördern, die Margen verbessern und die Arbeitsweise vereinfachen.

Im Rahmen von drei BUP-Kick-off-Workshops in Heidelberg (Deutschland), Charlotte (USA) und Hongkong konnten sich die Teilnehmer das notwendige Rüstzeug aneignen, um den Planungsprozess zu starten. Bei diesen sehr erfolgreichen Treffen wurde viel Brainstorming und Ideenaustausch betrieben. Hunderte Teilnehmer waren beteiligt und tragen die neuen Kenntnisse in ihre Teams. Es fanden zudem zahlreiche digitale Meetings statt.
Die Veranstaltungen waren äußerst spannend. Alle Teilnehmer konnten ihren Input und ihre umfassenden Erfahrungen einbringen. Zusammengerechnet waren sehr viele Jahre Dentsply Sirona-Erfahrung im Raum. Gleichzeitig war es großartig, die Coaches dabeizuhaben. Sie haben uns ermutigt, unsere gewohnten Denkmuster zu verlassen – so kamen die interessantesten und produktivsten Ideen zustande.

Dieses wird geleitet von David Semple, der gemeinsam mit seinem Team und dem Executive Leadership Team die Verantwortung für den Transformationsprozess trägt. Das TO fungiert als eigenständiges Team, das den Wandlungsprozess vorantreibt. Zudem ist dieses Team verantwortlich für die Mobilisierung im Unternehmen, indem es das Tempo für die Transformation vorgibt, den Fortschritt beobachtet, die Zusammenarbeit über alle Funktionen gewährleistet und Verantwortlichkeiten sicherstellt.

Um den Transformationsprozess erfolgreich zu gestalten, ist jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter gefragt. Jede Meinung zählt, und alle Veränderungen müssen gemeinsam angegangen werden, um wirksam zu sein. Einige dieser Initiativen werden Arbeitsweisen verändern. Dies ist eine großartige Gelegenheit, Dentsply Sirona noch besser aufzustellen, ein stärkeres Wachstum zu erreichen und die geleistete Arbeit mit Hilfe von Kunden-Feedback stetig zu verbessern.
