250 Tage Dentsply Sirona – im Interview zieht CEO Jeff Slovin eine erste Bilanz: „Während der gesamten Integration haben wir unseren hohen Standard im Kundenservice und bei unseren Produkten stets aufrechterhalten.“ Lesen Sie mehr über die drei wichtigsten Unternehmensziele innerhalb der nächsten zwölf Monate und was sich Jeff Slovin für seine Mitarbeiter wünscht.
Jeff, wenn Sie auf die ersten zehn Monate als Dentsply Sirona zurückblicken, worauf sind Sie dann besonders stolz?
Besonders stolz bin ich auf unsere Mitarbeiter in aller Welt, die jeden Tag dazu beitragen, dass Dentsply Sirona zum führenden Hersteller von innovativen zahnmedizinischen Lösungen wird. Ich habe in den letzten Monaten viele unserer Standorte besucht und die Leidenschaft, der Enthusiasmus und das Engagement sind wahrlich beeindruckend. Wir haben uns als ein globales Team schnell auf unsere Mission und unsere gemeinsamen Werte ausgerichtet, um unsere Kunden darin zu unterstützen, eine bessere, sicherere und schnellere zahnmedizinische Versorgung anbieten zu können. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass wir vor dem Durchbruch von etwas ganz Großem stehen. Ich war überwältigt davon, wie viele Kollegen mir auf unserer SIROWORLD Konferenz in Orlando davon erzählt haben, wie positiv sich die Fusion auf ihre Arbeit ausgewirkt hat. Und einer unserer größten Kunden sagte mir, wie sehr er von den umfassenden Lösungsangeboten beeindruckt ist, mit denen wir jetzt am Markt vertreten sind.
Unsere Fusion hat in der Branche bereits Geschichte geschrieben. Es ist eine Ehre, unser Unternehmen in dieser Zeit der Chancen und Veränderungen führen zu dürfen.
Auf welche Prioritäten sollen wir uns in den nächsten zwölf Monaten konzentrieren?
Nach vorne blickend sehe ich drei Prioritäten für die nächsten zwölf Monate:
Zunächst einmal werden wir uns selbstverständlich weiterhin auf unser Stammgeschäft und unsere Kunden konzentrieren. Hierzu gehört für mich auch, die Kundenzufriedenheit kontinuierlich zu verbessern sowie unaufhörlich innovative Produkte und Lösungen zu entwickeln. Wir sind hervorragend aufgestellt, um von den Trends in der Dentalbranche zu profitieren. Unser Portfolio bildet eine starke Grundlage, um die Bedürfnisse der Kunden und die Erwartungen unserer Stakeholder erfolgreich zu erfüllen – auch durch die Erreichung unserer Quartalsziele zum Jahreswechsel 2016/2017.
Eine weitere Priorität liegt in der Beschleunigung unseres Wachstums. Ich bin überzeugt, dass Dentsply Sirona durch die Konzentration auf Wachstum gleichermaßen zu einem starken Unternehmen wie auch zu einem attraktiven Arbeitgeber wird. So hat unser globales Team bereits in fünf Märkten ein Programm zur Kundenakquise eingeführt und damit hervorragende Ergebnisse erzielt. Ferner setzen wir verstärkt auf die Förderung unserer Mitarbeiter, etwa durch Investitionen in die Dentsply Sirona University. Wir alle können zum Wachstum beitragen, indem wir Einsparpotentiale nutzen und bei unseren Ausgaben sparsam sind.
Auch die Integration beider Unternehmen genießt nach wie vor hohe Priorität. Mehrere Teams arbeiten daran, unsere Organisation, unsere Richtlinien und Prozesse vollständig zu integrieren. So haben wir ein Team etabliert, das prüft, wie wir die Fusion nutzen können, um den Umsatz zu steigern und Kundenbedürfnisse gemeinsam zu erfüllen. Außerdem arbeiten wir nach wie vor daran, unsere technischen Systeme zusammenzuführen und höchstaktuelle IT-Programme zu implementieren.
Um diese Prioritäten zu erreichen gibt es in jedem Bereich Potentiale zur Effektivitäts- und Effizienzsteigerung. Ich ermutige Sie, dass Sie sich aktiv beteiligten und Ihre Vorschläge mit Ihren Vorgesetzten oder Mitgliedern des Integrationsteams mitteilen.

Wie wird sichergestellt, dass wir eine gemeinsame Unternehmenskultur entwickeln?
Unsere Unternehmenskultur ist die Art und Weise, wie wir zusammenarbeiten, wie wir unseren Kunden ihre Arbeit erleichtern und wie wir unsere Marke im Markt vertreten. Das ist für mich und für die gesamte Geschäftsführung enorm wichtig. Wir sind nur so stark, wie wir gemeinsam in der Lage sind, unser Versprechen beim Kunden einzulösen. Als Führungsteam haben wir intensiv darüber nachgedacht, was Dentsply Sirona auszeichnen soll. Die Ergebnisse sind in die Mission, Vision und Werte eingeflossen, die wir Anfang dieses Jahres formuliert haben.
Dentsply Sirona motiviert seine Beschäftigten zu Höchstleistungen. So haben wir beispielsweise unser Global Leadership Development Program (GLDP) erweitert und die Anzahl der Mitglieder in unserem Women Inspired Network hat sich vervierfacht. Wir haben fast 200 Culture Champions in allen Teilen unseres Unternehmens weltweit ausgewählt und geschult. Wir sind fest entschlossen, Leistung und Verantwortung unserer Mitarbeiter zu belohnen.
Worin unterscheidet sich Dentsply Sirona von den beiden vormals eigenständigen Unternehmen?
Vor unserer Fusion waren sowohl DENTSPLY als auch Sirona großartige Unternehmen mit solidem Wachstum. Dank der Zusammenlegung unserer Geschäfte, Kunden und Lösungen sind wir nun gemeinsam noch besser aufgestellt, um unser Wachstum voranzutreiben.
Wir möchten stets die Lösung liefern, die der Kunde braucht, während wir ihn gleichzeitig auf dem Weg zu größerer Effizienz unterstützen. Zahnärzte und Zahntechniker wünschen sich einen Partner, dem sie voll und ganz vertrauen können und der ihnen neben Implantaten auch Kronen und Produkte zur Infektionskontrolle bieten kann – also die gesamte Palette. Unsere Kunden wünschen sich ein Unternehmen, das Lösungen von der Planung bis zur Umsetzung anbietet, sei es für Wurzelbehandlungen, kieferorthopädische Behandlungen, Implantatsetzungen oder eine einfache Zahnrestauration. Über solche Gesamtlösungen lässt sich zudem die Akzeptanz aller Produkte und Lösungen in unserem Portfolio beschleunigen.
Mit dem Wachstum unseres Unternehmens ergeben sich auch für unsere Mitarbeiter viele Möglichkeiten, ihre Karriere schneller voranzutreiben. Es ist mein Anspruch, als Arbeitgeber erster Wahl gesehen zu werden, der berufliche Weiterentwicklung ermöglicht. Hervorragende Kandidaten werden aufgrund der Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten, die sich aus unserer breiten Produktpalette und den Investitionen in Weiterbildung ergeben, gerne bei uns arbeiten wollen.

Wie sieht Dentsply Sirona in drei Jahren aus und was werden wir bereits erreicht haben?
Wir werden DAS Unternehmen für Dentallösungen mit dem umfassendsten Portfolio an End-to-End-Lösungen für Zahnärzte und Zahntechniker sein und als solches von unseren Kunden und Wettbewerbern wahrgenommen werden. Wir möchten hervorragende wirtschaftliche Ergebnisse für unsere Aktionäre erzielen. Und wir möchten unseren Bekanntheitsgrad dort, wo wir leben und arbeiten, weiter erhöhen.
Wir möchten, dass unsere Mitarbeiter die beruflichen und persönlichen Möglichkeiten sehen, die sich daraus ergeben, ein Teil von Dentsply Sirona zu sein.
Wir sind auf gutem Wege, dies auch zu erreichen. Schon heute nutzen rund 600.000 Zahnärzte und Zahntechniker jeden Tag die Produkte von Dentsply Sirona, um mehr als sechs Millionen Patienten zu behandeln. Je mehr wir wachsen, desto mehr Patienten können wir erreichen. Wir verfügen bereits über ausgezeichnete Beziehungen zu Zahnärzten und Laboren, da unsere Marke für Qualität und Innovation steht.
Ich denke, wir sollten danach streben, unser Wachstum jährlich um fünf Prozent zu steigern. Das ist anspruchsvoll, aber ich bin davon überzeugt, dass wir die Möglichkeit haben, jegliches Hindernis aus dem Weg zu räumen.
Was möchten Sie den Mitarbeitern noch mit auf den Weg für die weitere Integration geben?
Es wird Zeit brauchen, die Integration abzuschließen und unser Potenzial in Umsatz und Ergebnis umsetzen zu können. Wir werden dabei auf viele Herausforderungen stoßen und auch neue Lösungen entdecken. Diese Fusion ist eine einmalige Chance und ich möchte jeden ermutigen, das Beste daraus zu machen.
Wir müssen geduldig sein, Fragen stellen und uns vor Augen führen, dass wir alle nur das Beste wollen. Wir sitzen alle im selben Boot und unser Erfolg hängt davon ab, wie gut wir als globales Team funktionieren. Zusammen erschaffen wir eine einzigartige Kultur.
Vergessen Sie nicht, dass dies erst der Beginn der Reise ist… das Beste wird für Dentsply Sirona noch kommen!
