Das Education Center Hanau bietet ein breites Fortbildungsangebot und bringt Dentalexperten und Kollegen aus aller Welt den Bereich DS Lab näher.
Als bedeutender Dentsply Sirona Produktionsstandort steht Hanau seit Jahrzehnten auch für erfolgreiche Weiterbildung in den Bereichen Materialien und Lösungen für Dentallabore (Lab). Für diese Bereiche bietet das Education Center ein breites Angebot zahntechnischer Fortbildungen mit dem Fokus auf Praxisnähe. Darunter Train-the-Trainer-Fortbildungen, Trainings für Kunden und KOLs, interne Schulungen für technische und Service-Berater aus aller Welt sowie Onboarding-Trainings für neue Mitarbeiter.

Hands-on-Trainings für hochfeste Glaskeramiken
Im April hieß das DS Lab Clinical Affairs Team Dentalexperten aus Russland und der Ukraine zu einem dreitägigen Hands-on-Training für hochfeste Glaskeramiken in Hanau willkommen. In den Trainingseinheiten testeten die Teilnehmer die Materialien in der Praxis, darüber hinaus standen Fachvorträge, ein Rundgang durch die Produktion sowie eine Q&A-Session auf dem Programm.

„Das Ausbildungskonzept ist so konzipiert, dass die Trainer anschließend dafür qualifiziert sind, ihr Wissen in eintägigen Kursen in ihrem Land weiterzugeben“, erläutert Nicole Hieronymus, Senior Manager Clinical Affairs Lab. Zu einem Train-the-Trainer-Kurs für Keramiken waren im April sieben Dentaltechniker aus der MENARegion zu Gast im Education Center in Hanau. Erstmalig nahmen in diesem Jahr auch Zahnärzte aus Japan an einem Lab-Training mit dem Schwerpunkt Vollkeramik mit Celtra und Cercon in Hanau teil. Yamen Chaben, Education Specialist, brachte der Gruppe unter anderem das Färben und Glasieren von Keramiken näher.
Sehr spannend finde ich, dass zu unseren Fortbildungen Gäste aus aller Welt nach Hanau kommen. Unabhängig davon, ob wir neue Mitarbeiter zum Onboarding, KOLs zum Train-the-Trainer-Programm oder Kunden zum Training begrüßen, es ist immer wieder großartig, wie begeistert und überzeugt die Teilnehmer von unseren Produkten sind.
Onboarding zu Lab-Produkten
Internationale Gäste begrüßt der Standort Hanau auch im Rahmen des globalen Onboarding-Programms. Auch in diesem Jahr standen zahlreiche Schulungstermine auf dem Programm. Neue Kollegen des Iberia Sales Teams aus Spanien und Portugal nahmen im Februar am Onboarding-Training von DS Lab teil und machten sich mit den Produkten und Lösungen für festsitzende und herausnehmbare Prothetik vertraut. In einem Hands-on-Workshop lernten die Teilnehmer Celtra Press, Celtra Ceram, Cercon ht/xt sowie die Verblendkeramiken des Kiss-Systems kennen. Im März absolvierten Kollegen aus der MENA-Region ihr Onboarding-Training in Hanau.
Workflow wird bis ins Detail vorgestellt
Clinical Affairs-Mitarbeiter aus Saudi-Arabien, Ägypten, den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, Kuwait und Indien lernten im März das Portfolio der Labormaterialien kennen und konnten sich selbst von den Eigenschaften und Vorteilen der Produktlösungen überzeugen. Hanauer Kollegen aus dem Produktmanagement sowie dem Bereich Forschung und Entwicklung gaben den Gästen außerdem einen breiten Überblick über traditionelle und digitale Workflows mit Celtra und Cercon, über Legierungen und Verblendmaterialien und stellten den neuen Keramikofen Multimat Cube vor.

Innovationen im Blick: Multimat Cube und inLab Profire
Für Servicemitarbeiter bietet der Bereich Clinical Affairs in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Standort Bensheim ebenfalls Trainings an, die Servicetechnikern aus aller Welt Produktinnovationen wie den Keramikofen Multimat Cube oder den inLab Profire Sinterofen in allen Details näherbringen. Allein in diesem Sommer waren Teilnehmer aus Indien, den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, Serbien, Kroatien und der Tschechischen Republik in Hanau und Bensheim bei den Trainings dabei.
Seit 1993 ist das Education Center am Standort Hanau mit einem Vortragssaal und einem mit zehn Arbeitsplätzen komplett eingerichteten zahntechnischen Schulungslabor ausgestattet.
