Die deutschen Standorte haben das Angebot an Weiterbildungen in den vergangenen Jahren kontinuierlich ausgebaut.
Trainings auf höchstem Niveau in Bensheim
Ein Aushängeschild für Trainings und Schulungen auf höchstem Niveau ist die DS Academy in Bensheim. Allein im vergangenen Jahr wurden rund 7.500 Zahnärzte, Fachberater und Servicetechniker geschult. Ein spezielles Programm für Zahnarztpraxen bietet Kurse für die Bereiche InLab, CAD/CAM, Prophylaxe und die Handhabung des SiroLaser Blue. Mit dem CAD/CAM Servicetechniker-Forum hat sich in Bensheim außerdem ein Fortbildungsformat etabliert, das Dentalexperten die neuesten Produkte des Bereichs vorstellt und Gelegenheit für den fachlichen Austausch bietet. Thematische Schwerpunkte der zweitägigen Veranstaltung waren in diesem Jahr unter anderem die neue CEREC Primescan sowie praktische Übungen zur neuen CEREC 5 Software. „Zu den größten Herausforderungen bei technischen Trainings gehören Produktneueinführungen. Hier müssen innerhalb kürzester Zeit möglichst viele Servicetechniker geschult werden, damit verkaufte Geräte fachgerecht installiert werden können. Dafür setzen wir verstärkt auf spezielle Foren, wie zum Beispiel für CEREC Primescan. Dabei ist die hohe Qualität unserer Trainings ein entscheidender Baustein, damit ein optimaler Service bei unseren Kunden gewährleistet ist“, so Sebastian Schäfer, Head of Technical Trainings.
Die geografische Nähe der Standorte Bensheim und Hanau ermöglicht es, internationalen Kunden Trainings und Werksführungen an beiden Standorten anzubieten oder für Konferenzen Vortrags- und Trainingsräume gemeinsam zu nutzen. So fand zuletzt im Februar die Xive Consensus Conference standortübergreifend statt. Im Rahmen der Konferenz wurden die neuesten Entwicklungen und weitere Perspektiven rund um die vielseitige Implantatlösung Xive vorgestellt. In der DS Academy stand das Trainings- und Weiterbildungskonzept zu Xive auf dem Konferenzprogramm.
Unser Programm im Bereich Clinical Education ermöglicht uns einen sehr intensiven Kontakt mit unseren Endkunden. Die Teilnehmer sind ja in der Regel für die jeweiligen Trainings ein bis zwei volle Tage hier am Standort Bensheim. Dabei lernen sie nicht nur den klinischen Workflow im Rahmen ihres Trainings kennen, sondern gewinnen auch einen Überblick über weitere Produktlösungen aus unserem Vollsortiment. Hanau bietet Hands-on-Trainings für internationale Experten
In Hanau ist das Education Center mit einem kompletten zahntechnischen Kurslabor für analoge und digitale Workflows ausgerüstet. Der Vortragssaal bietet die technischen Voraussetzungen für Vorträge und Workshops in unterschiedlichen Formaten. Ein Erfolgsmodell ist das Schulungskonzept zum Keramiken-Portfolio von Dentsply Sirona. In Hands-on-Trainings lernen Dentalexperten aus aller Welt die hochfesten Glaskeramiken Celtra Press sowie Cercon ht/xt selbst in der Anwendung für die Zahnrestauration kennen. Im Rahmen des internationalen Onboarding-Programms machen sich neue Mitarbeiter mit Lab-Produkten vertraut.
München steht für Clinical Education und Endodontie-Trainings
VDW bietet im eigenen Schulungszentrum in München ein hochkarätiges Fortbildungsprogramm im Bereich Endodontie an. Seit 2004 ist das Schulungszentrum beständig gewachsen. An den komplett ausgestatteten Endo-Arbeitsplätzen sind allein in diesem Jahr rund 770 Teilnehmer geschult worden. Jährlich finden vier Trainings für neue Referenten statt sowie mehrere VDW-eigene Kurse mit renommierten Referenten für Zahnärzte, die die VDW Produkte in der Praxis anwenden möchten. Zur Auswahl stehen die Module „Endo – aber einfach!“ und „Irrigation und Obturation – das ,I’ und ,O’ der Endo“. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt des Trainingsangebots bei VDW sind Endodontie-Trainings für Mitarbeiter, die so die Möglichkeit haben, ihr Produkt-Fachwissen zu vertiefen.
Darüber hinaus kooperiert VDW mit renommierten unabhängigen Fortbildungseinrichtungen wie der Europäischen Akademie für zahnärztliche Fortbildung (eazf) und diversen anderen Endodontie-Gesellschaften. Auch ein direkter Draht zum zahnärztlichen Nachwuchs wird gepflegt. Mehrmals jährlich werden spezielle Kurse für Studierende in Zusammenarbeit mit nationalen und internationalen Universitäten aus dem Fachbereich Zahnerhaltung angeboten.
Die Kurse entsprechen den Richtlinien der Bundeszahnärztekammer und geben einen umfassenden Überblick und ausführliches Hands-on-Training für Wurzelkanalbehandlungen.
Restorative Forum Konstanz – hohe Standards
Seit mittlerweile mehr als 15 Jahren organisiert der Standort Konstanz das Restorative Forum, ein hochkarätiges wissenschaftliches Fortbildungsprogramm mit Teilnehmern aus aller Welt. Neben wissenschaftlichen Vorträgen zu technischen, chemischen und klinischen Eigenschaften der Dentsply Sirona Produkte stehen vor allem die Behandlungsabläufe im Vordergrund.
Ein weiteres erfolgreiches Programm ist das dreitägige CE Certification Program. Schwerpunkte des Angebots sind Class II & Single-Unit Crown sowie ein Workshop im Bereich der digitalen intraoralen Fotografie, der von renommierten internationalen Zahnärzten und Dentalexperten begleitet wird. Durch eine Kooperation mit der Universität Zürich haben die Teilnehmer die Möglichkeit, an einem CEREC Workshop teilzunehmen. Jeder Kursteilnehmer kann eine digitale Abformung mit der Primescan durchführen und anschließend eine Celtra Duo Versorgung erstellen.
Regelmäßige Schulungsangebote an den anderen Standorten, wie zum Beispiel die Schulungswochen für Kundenberater in den Bereichen Praxis, Hygiene, Labor und Vertrieb in Marl, ergänzen die Fort- und Weiterbildungsstruktur von Dentsply Sirona.
