Auf welche Weise haben Sie selbst Unterstützung auf Ihrem Karriereweg erfahren?
LIMA: Ich hatte während der acht Jahre, die ich im Unternehmen bin, die Möglichkeit, an vielen spannenden Projekten teilzunehmen, die wichtig für meine berufliche und persönliche Entwicklung waren. Wir haben es selbst in der Hand, den ersten Schritt zu gehen, um die eigenen Ziele zu erreichen. Meine Vorgesetzten und Kollegen haben mich auf diesem Weg stets unterstützt. Ich habe durch ihr Feedback und ihren Rat lernen können und dabei immer meine eigenen Wünsche und Ziele vor Augen gehabt und diese auch kommuniziert. So habe ich die Unterstützung bekommen, die ich brauchte, um meine Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln und meinen Weg zu gehen. Ich hatte das Glück, eine Mentorin zu haben, die mich immer ermutigt und gefordert hat. Und die mir half, mich selbst und meine Stärken besser kennenzulernen und so meinen eigenen Führungsstil besser zu gestalten.
JENKINS: Während meiner Karriere wurden mir viele Möglichkeiten geboten, mich zu entfalten. Meine Vorgesetzten haben mein Potenzial erkannt und mir alle Möglichkeiten gegeben, mich zu entwickeln. Ein gutes Mentoring hat mich in meiner Entwicklung unterstützt. Es ist wichtig, sich bietende Chancen zu ergreifen – so konnte ich mein volles Potenzial entfalten.
Frau Lima, auf welche nächsten Projekte innerhalb der DS Women Gruppe und speziell in der DACHRegion freuen Sie sich?
LIMA: Unsere nächsten Projekte werden sich stark auf die berufliche Entwicklung konzentrieren und die Vernetzung fördern. Wir möchten auch mehr Männer dazu einladen, in der Gruppe mitzumachen – so können wir gemeinsam Dinge verändern. Ich freue mich darauf, gemeinsam mit der Gruppe noch stärker zu einer inklusiven, offenen und gleichberechtigten Unternehmenskultur beizutragen.
