Sechs Auszubildende übernahmen eine dringende Testanfrage für die Fräs- und Schleifmaschine CEREC Primemill – trotz des engen Zeitrahmens erfolgreich.
Es war ein anspruchsvoller Auftrag: Für ein geplantes Firmware-Update, bei dem auch neue Werkzeuge mit einer Geometrieoptimierung auf den Markt kommen sollten, musste eine gewissenhafte Dokumentation mit Verschleißbreitenmessung, Fotografien der Werkzeugschneiden und Archivierung der fertigen Restaurationen erstellt werden. „Wegen personeller Engpässe wurde überlegt, dafür externe Mitarbeiter einzustellen. Dann haben wir uns aber an die gute Unterstützung aus der Ausbildungsabteilung für ähnliche Aufgaben bei der MC X5 Fräs-/Schleifmaschine erinnert“, erklärt Matthias Morgenroth, Ausbildungsbeauftragter in der CEREC Entwicklung (GCH3).
Ihre Mission: Expertencheck für drei Anwendungsfälle
Die sechs Auszubildenden Giovanni Peretto, Valentin Karn, Valentin Daum, Lucas Keil, René Seip und Mohammed Sherif übernahmen die Tests.
Test 1: Beim neuen Fräsprozess für Bohrschablonen zur Implantatversorgung mussten speziell dafür vorgesehene Spindelmotoren einem Langzeittest unterzogen werden.
Test 2: Die vorgegebene Werkzeugstandzeit der Fräswerkzeuge für Ti-Prefaces zur Implantatversorgung sollte über eine längere Testphase bestätigt werden.
Test 3: „Der superschnelle Fräsprozess für Zirkonkeramik hat die dafür vorgesehenen Schruppfräswerkzeuge teilweise an ihre Grenzen gebracht, sodass eine verbesserte Werkzeugvariante in kurzer Zeit getestet werden musste“, so Matthias Morgenroth.
„Wir waren beeindruckt, wie zuverlässig, strukturiert und präzise die Auszubildenden gearbeitet haben. Mit dieser Unterstützung konnten alle Testaufgaben in der vorgesehenen Zeitspanne bewältigt und das Produkt CEREC Primemill mit weiteren wichtigen Features im Markt platziert werden. Ein großer Dank an die Ausbildungsabteilung für die spontane Unterstützung“, so das Fazit von Matthias Morgenroth.
