CEREC Tessera I nuovi blocchetti in vetroceramica
Le vetroceramiche rinforzate sono usate spesso dai dentisti per la realizzazione di restauri indiretti molto estetici: i pazienti desiderano infatti restauri possibilmente simili ai denti naturali. I disilicati di litio ottengono risultati convincenti in tutto l’arco dentario e si lavorano facilmente con sistemi CAD/CAM da studio, come CEREC Primemill. I blocchetti CEREC Tessera sono costituiti da una ceramica in disilicato di litio evoluto in grado di accelerare l’intero processo di lavoro, grazie al tempo di cottura ridotto: nel forno CEREC SpeedFire, infatti, la cottura di una corona impiega solo 4 minuti e 30 secondi. I blocchetti CEREC Tessera contribuiscono così a migliorare notevolmente l’efficienza dello studio rispetto ad altri materiali.
Il tempo di cottura veloce è reso possibile grazie alla nuova composizione ceramica speciale, ottenuta dal disilicato di litio e dalla virgilite, un silicato di alluminio. Durante il processo di cottura, i cristalli di virgilite si formano all’interno di una matrice vetrosa arricchita in zirconia. Questi cristalli costituiscono un nuovo materiale ad alta densità, con eccellenti caratteristiche di robustezza e resistenza alla frattura. La composizione di cristalli finemente interconnessi di CEREC Tessera è il segreto della sua elevata resistenza e coadiuva anche nell’evitare la propagazione delle crepe. La stessa struttura cristallina (disilicato di litio e virgilite) alla base dell’elevata resistenza alla flessione è responsabile dell’estetica straordinaria di CEREC Tessera, ottenuta dalla rifrazione ottica dinamica, dalla trasmissione luminosa e dalle proprietà assorbenti che emulano la naturalezza dei denti.
L’elevata resistenza dei blocchetti CEREC Tessera fornisce ulteriori vantaggi clinici: lo spessore ridotto dei margini della preparazione e la possibilità di cementare in maniera convenzionale. Tutti i restauri realizzati in CEREC Tessera possono essere cementati anche adesivamente (con Prime & Bond Active e Calibra Ceram). I restauri con spessore superiore a 1,5 mm possono essere cementati anche in modalità autoadesiva (con Calibra Universal) o con cementi vetroionomerici.
I blocchetti CEREC Tessera sono indicati per un ampio spettro di restauri singoli, come corone, intarsi e faccette e costituiscono il materiale fresabile ideale per i possessori del sistema CEREC e del forno CEREC SpeedFire, per restauri resistenti, estetici e veloci.
