Lavorare in Comunicazione rende tutto più facile. Seguo i nostri migliori clienti sui social media per vedere i loro interessi, esprimere il mio apprezzamento alle loro idee e input e condividerli. I nostri clienti conoscono i bisogni dei loro pazienti e possono aiutarci a rendere i nostri sforzi di comunicazione più efficienti per altri clienti esistenti, per i nuovi clienti e anche per i pazienti. La generazione di contenuti di valore per i nostri clienti ci aiuta a promuovere le nostre soluzioni e a migliorare la nostra consapevolezza del marchio. Penso che la risposta a questa domanda sia, in una parola, "empatia". Dal punto di vista del paziente, ogni persona, prima o poi, ha bisogno di andare dal dentista almeno una volta nella vita. Da quel punto di vista, posso capire le loro esitazioni, paure ed emozioni. Posso mettermi nei panni del dentista e capirne le pressioni e le tensioni che prova durante il trattamento, specie se il paziente ha paura o subisce attacchi di panico. In questo senso, credo che Dentsply Sirona abbia un ruolo cruciale nel gestire non solo la psicologia dei dentisti ma anche quella dei pazienti. Credo che l'alta qualità dei nostri prodotti e servizi e la fiducia che infondiamo nei nostri clienti semplifichi le cose sia a questi che ai pazienti.

Di solito, Operations e SCM sono considerate aree molto orientate verso l'interno dove costi, quantità, percentuali di scarto e OEE sono gli standard principali piuttosto che i nostri clienti e pazienti. A mio parere, questo approccio è controproducente, poiché è il cliente che decide di giorno in giorno a quale venditore attribuire la propria fiducia. Operations e SCM alla VDW hanno un'enorme influenza sulla loro esperienza, perché siamo noi a produrre e consegnare il prodotto desiderato. La prima cosa che faccio ogni mattina è leggere le ultime notizie del settore dentale. Cerco articoli interessanti da pubblicare sui social media ma, soprattutto, questa ricerca mi aiuta ad entrare nella mentalità di un dentista per scoprire cosa è più interessante e rilevante. Leggo i casi di studio per capire in che modo l'odontoiatria e l'assistenza orale influiscano sulla vita di un paziente e come un dentista si avvicini a una procedura difficile. Più leggo e più capisco quanto sia importante il nostro lavoro per i nostri clienti e i pazienti.

Fortunatamente le mie attività quotidiane di marketing mi fanno pensare a cosa vogliono i pazienti e a come possiamo aiutarli per soddisfare le loro esigenze. Ad esempio, chi lavora in ufficio in grandi città come Tokyo può richiedere non solo una "una singola visita dentistica con CEREC", ma anche "un trattamento composto da due visite in un giorno" (visitando la clinica vicino all'ufficio durante la pausa pranzo e al termine dell'orario di lavoro). Si tratta di una richiesta particolare in Giappone e dobbiamo tenerlo a mente per soddisfare sia clienti che pazienti. Il mio lavoro mi aiuta a ricordarmi di clienti e pazienti ogni giorno, quindi faccio del mio meglio per soddisfare le loro aspettative.
