Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers has developed a successful event concept called “TRENDS” that brings together all of the most important people needed to support dentists who are in the planning process of building a new office or rebuilding their existing practice.

On April 20-21, 2018, Dentsply Sirona held an event at the Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, CA with the byline, “Design Inspirations for the Ultimate Dental Office.” Conceived by the US RCO’s Marketing team in cooperation with the territory managers, the event focused on helping dentists to build or redesign their dental practice to reflect their ultimate goals. The event aimed to show the attendees what is possible in terms of office design, equipment and workflow solutions.  

Fourteen dentists and office staff participated together with Holger Kappler from Kappler Design, an external designer, Fortune Management – a practice management consulting company – CFAs from Bank of America, alongside dealer representatives from Patterson, Dentsply Sirona territory managers and members of the US RCO’s marketing team.

Key Opinion Leaders spoke directly to participants about their experiences. The event kicked off with a keynote speech given by Dr. Mona Patel titled, “What to look for in your design,” followed by dinner where the group had a chance to share ideas and learn from one another. Saturday’s agenda included a dental office tour and presentation by Dr. Jeremy Ueno, and additional presentations on, “How to finance my dream,” and, “Integrated technology with 3D imaging and CAD/CAM,” by Dr. Dave Juliani and Dr. Jenny Apekian respectively. There was also a panel discussion, and Q&A session.
