There’s a new working stool available for dental practices. Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers introduced its latest ergonomic solution in working stools at this year’s IDS.
Dentsply Sirona has added a new working stool to its portfolio: “Theo.” Theo is a saddle stool that combines the healthy body posture of standing with the benefits of a stable, comfortable and high sitting position. This combination also gives the dentist ideal access to the patient’s mouth. The stool benefits from very comfortable upholstery that practitioners will appreciate by the end of a long day.
Features
Theo is practical and meant to be an investment that lasts. The step elements are replaceable, increasing the stool’s longevity even with frequent use. The stool is available with a long or short gas spring which gives dentists of different heights a choice. The balance mechanism can be adjusted to suit one’s personal preference.
Leg position is an important part of ergonomic design and Theo’s step elements enable a position of relief for the clinician. The stool’s balance mechanism is actually quite clever.
With a simple turn of the ring, the stool’s range of motion adapts to the individual. By preventing static sitting, Theo relieves pressure on muscle groups in the lower back and reduces back pain.
Dentsply Sirona also provides a choice of upholstery when ordering Theo. The Premium Thermo Upholstery features an extra cushioning insert that reduces the build-up of heat and ensures comfort even during long procedures. For that bit of extra comfort, Theo is also available with the Lounge upholstery – a comfortable and visual highlight at the same time.
Theo extends the portfolio of Dentsply Sirona’s working stools offering an alternative for dentists who prefer the ergonomic concept of a saddle stool. Theo had its grand entrance at IDS 2019 and showed that Dentsply Sirona continuously works to serve all customer needs in the dental world. Customers had very positive feedback on the new saddle stool, welcoming “Theo” with a smile on their face to the Dentsply Sirona family.
