A successful kick-off for a successful 20184th Treatment Centers Forum
The 4th Treatment Centers Forum took place in Bensheim, Germany from February 27-28. The 2-day internal event, with approximately 100 Treatment Center sales and marketing representatives from all over the world, was organized by the Product Management Team of the Treatment Centers SBU. The agenda was filled with many educational product topics and presentations on new campaigns and marketing materials. Everyone had the chance to contribute best practices, share ideas and learn from one another. Additionally, it was a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to network. This year’s participants came from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Scandinavia, the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, numerous countries in Asia, the US, Canada and Brazil.
Colleagues from all over the world
The event was kicked-off by Michael Geil, Vice President Treatment Centers and Susanne Schmidinger, Director Product Management Treatment Centers, who provided a strategic lookout into 2018. Matt Beadle, a professional moderator and facilitator from the UK, then took over to moderate the next two days. With his own dynamic blend of originality and humor, he managed to keep the motivation and interaction high and really enriched the whole event.
There was no shortage of laughter
Thank you for this exciting, informative and well-organized event
Q&A with Dominique Legros
Some of the highlights on the agenda included an interview with Dominique Legros, Senior Vice President Technology & Equipment Segment, on the importance of solutions and how the treatment center integrates into the whole concept of providing solutions to dentists. The Forum also featured an interesting and interactive panel discussion on dentist ergonomics with two external speakers: Thomas Senghaas, a dentist from Hamburg, and Dr. Peter Fischer, a specialized physiotherapist from Tübingen. The discussion was greatly appreciated by everyone.
Scientific insights on ergonomics from Dr. Peter Fischer
The Treatment Center Global Marketing team introduced the new “Quality Beyond Reliability” campaign – a 360° integrated marketing campaign. The campaign was very well received and will be rolled out in the respective markets in the near future. The campaign not only shows the inherent value of the treatment center, but also gives “behind-the-scenes” insight into the people, R&D processes, production, and quality testing that goes into its development. Furthermore, the newly established Marketing Organization designed to improve communication and cooperation among the different Marketing representatives made its debut.
Two breakout sessions on Integrated Endodontics and Digitally Connected Treatment Centers provided some more in-depth product and application knowledge. In addition, the participants shared insights, experiences and challenges from their markets in a Best Practice session.
Throughout the entire two days, during breaks, and in group exercises, the forum was also a great opportunity for networking among the many international guests. The evening event on Tuesday night at the auto museum in Ladenburg gave everyone a chance to get to know one another in a relaxed and casual environment. Next to a delicious menu, the highlight for many participants was the XXL electric track as well as the original model of one of the first cars, which could even by test-driven.
Overall, the forum set the stage for a successful 2018 and inspired everyone to grow together as One Global Team for Treatment Centers.
