It concluded that the dental market itself is evolving mainly due to the large-scale trend towards digitalization, significantly changing customer needs and increasing competition. Dentists are more and more commonly becoming part of joint dental practices rather than working as single practitioners and joining Dental Service Organizations (DSOs). A greater number of general practitioners are engaging in specialty procedures. Increasing numbers of women are becoming dentists.
