Search feature now matches expertise to needs
The team responsible for the Company’s digital workplace is busy developing new features and functionalities to make the DS Community even more responsive to employees’ needs.
User feedback is an important part of the continuing development of the DS Community – the company-wide digital workplace. Recent developments include a more powerful people search feature and new elements for the CEO Blog.
Employees may have noticed improvements to the user interface across the DS Community. There is a new style of navigation using drop-downs for main and sub-menus enhancing the original tile navigation.
CEO Don Casey’s blog also got a pair of improvements to the user experience. When Don embeds a video link in his post, it enables his followers to play the video directly in a video player.
Enhanced search capability
Employees can now search not only for names and positions of coworkers, but for particular skills, expertise and projects as well. Finding colleagues worldwide without knowing a specific name or job position will make it even easier to work together across geographies, matching needs with experience to build a better, more efficient and effective Dentsply Sirona. Every employee with a Dentsply Sirona email address has a basic profile with the option to easily add more information, such as the projects on which an individual is working, their skills and expertise.
The more information that profiles contain, the better the new search functionality will work.
