Eye-catching equipment rooted in a knowledge of style
Dentsply Sirona is a leader not only for the functionality of its products but also for its cutting-edge design.
Employees working with Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers know that their equipment is uncompromising in its quality. They can also be proud that their equipment sits at the heart of the dental practice and plays an important role in its overall design concept.
For the 2019 International Dental Show (IDS), Treatment Centers presented a new design collection for Premium and Lounge upholstery, along with a wide range of stitching colors. The colors evoke different atmospheres from the elegant, to the natural, to the vital. Elegant includes Carbon, Merlot, Platinum, and Pacific. Natural-themed colors are Umbra, Sapphire, Basalt, and Cherry. Vital colors are Aloe, Aqua, Flamingo, and Orchid. The color schemes match different interior design styles but are also meant to be lasting – to be appealing long beyond just the current moment.

In the editiorial of the trenDS magazine 2019/2020, Susanne Schmidinger, Vice President, Global Brand Marketing & Clinical Affairs Equipment and Instruments, stated that when developing the new color offerings, the team worked very closely with style offices in Frankfurt, Berlin and Paris and took some of their inspiration from nature and Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers.
The Teneo and Sinius treatment centers also have a choice of paintwork colors: Rosé, Platinum Silver and Matt Gold to go along with the classic Neutral White. Dentists can have their initials embroidered on the motorized headrest as an additional element of personalization.

An award-winning publication
At the 2017 IDS, Treatment Centers introduced its DSIGN Magazine, which presented extraordinary examples of real practices that embodied design trends in dentistry. The magazine also contained valuable tips and useful information that not only inspired but educated. The issue was so well received that it won Gold at the 2017 German Stevie Awards. For the 2019 IDS, Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers unveiled its latest edition of trenDS magazine, which presents the four central trends in practice design and examples of dental practices from all around the world to match along with articles around several interesting topics, such as digital solutions and patient experience.
Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers made it even more enticing for visitors to stop by and pick up a copy of the trenDS magazine by offering the opportunity to personalize the title page with an individual portrait made in a photo booth.
Mindful Clarity, Striking Energy, Sensitive Luminance,
Refined Luxury
These are the four current global trends in practice design identified by Dentsply Sirona.
Mindful Clarity shows Nordic influences that lend themselves to harmoniousness, balance and discretion and features premium, sustainable materials. Striking Energy uses catchy combinations and expressive interiors for unconventional looks. Sensitive Luminance is modern and minimalist, showing the interplay between light and technology with avant-garde materials to complement. Refined Luxury is classy and elegant using carefully selected brands for a feel of exclusivity.
Dentsply Sirona exhibited these international design trends at the main Treatment Center area in Hall 10.2. Based on representative examples from international practices, visitors were struck by the designs. No doubt many dentists imaginations were hard at work thinking of the possibilities for their own practices.
