Platform NewsR2C™, le Root to Crown, lancé et récompensé
Après une année de préparation et de collaboration entre les équipes marketing, affaires cliniques et communications des SBU Endodontie et Restauration, la solution Root to Crown, R2C™, a été lancée lors du salon IDS. R2C™, le Root to Crown fournit des produits et des conseils procéduraux de pointe, du diagnostic et de la planification du traitement à la restauration coronaire finale. Le pilier du concept est la trame clinique qui est au centre du programme de l’éducation clinique, des médias de communication marketing, du positionnement du produit et de la stratégie d’approche du marché.
C’est un changement complet de mentalité, puisque l’on passe d’un point de vue centré sur le produit pour Endo et Resto à une solution de traitement clinique intégré, comme nos clients les aperçoivent dans leur travail quotidien.

Durant l’IDS, les Market Development Managers des deux SBU ont participé à un atelier dédié à la mise en place du concept. Les marchés de Phase 1 incluent l’Allemagne, l’Autriche, la Suisse, le Benelux, l’Espagne, le Portugal, les Pays Nordiques et l’Italie. Aux États-Unis et au Canada, on ne se concentrera que sur l’éducation clinique. Les marchés de la 2e phase seront annoncés bientôt.
Trois webinaires de formation pour les leaders d’opinion et une session de formation à Ballaigues ont été intégrés au nouveau programme CE, qui est composé de la vidéo publié dans cet article et d’un programme procédural complet divisé en modules indépendants.

Acquisition de RTD
Le 3 avril, Dentsply Sirona a fait l’acquisition de RTD, entreprise pionnière et leader mondial dans la conception et la fabrication de tenons fibrés. L’entreprise, située près de Grenoble, en France, a des produits intéressants en cours de développement et va intégrer la SBU Endodontie. L’offre de RTD est unique, innovante et de grande qualité et représente un complément parfait pour notre nouvelle solution R2C™ Root to Crown. Elle nous permettra de fournir aux professionnels du secteur dentaire une solution encore plus complète, pour des traitements de canal et des restaurations dentaires plus rapides, plus sûres, et de meilleure qualité.
Lancement de X-Smart IQ en Amérique du Nord
La nouvelle vidéo X-Smart IQ™
X-Smart IQ a été lancé en 2015 en Europe et a depuis été déployé partout dans le monde.
Avec aujourd’hui environ 4 000 unités sur le marché, ce nouvel instrument est bien plus qu’un nouveau moteur : c’est le début d’une nouvelle ère pour les Équipements Endodontiques. Dans cette nouvelle ère, les clients bénéficient fréquemment des mises à jour par le biais de l’application, ils profitent d’une garantie de toujours avoir une bibliothèque de limes récente et de possibilités d’analyse et de stockage des données à traiter. Elle leur donne même l’occasion d’interagir entre clients, par l’intermédiaire du module Éducation.
La prochaine grande étape de ce déploiement mondial a été donc le lancement en Amérique du Nord, qui a eu lieu le 26 avril, lors de la rencontre de l’AAE à la Nouvelle-Orléans.
L’équipe américaine a accompli un énorme travail pour préparer le lancement et nous avons hâte que nos clients expérimentent ce nouvel outil.

Les Instruments à l'IDS
Cela fait maintenant près de trois mois que je me suis installé en Suisse pour rejoindre la SBU Endodontics et le temps est assurément passé très vite!
J’ai eu le plaisir de rejoindre cette équipe juste avant l’IDS, ce qui m’a donné l’excellente occasion de rencontrer, pour la première fois, bon nombre de mes nouveaux collègues et de participer à ce qui a été notre première opportunité de présenter la marque Dentsply Sirona Endodontics à nos utilisateurs finaux et distributeurs.
Les efforts de nos équipes Marcom ont été réellement fructueux, avec une excellente position – dont nous pouvons tous être fiers!
L’IDS a aussi joué un rôle très important pour la Plateforme Instruments, puisque nous y avons fait la démonstration de deux nouveaux instruments de la catégorie mise en forme canalaire, qui viennent compléter la ProGlider, qui rencontre déjà beaucoup de succès. La catégorie de la mise en forme canalaire continue à montrer une forte hausse pour Dentsply Sirona, soutenue par nos initiatives en matière d’Éducation Clinique et par nos services commerciaux mondiaux.
Derrière la marque Dentsply Sirona, les cliniciens ont eu leur première occasion d’expérimenter WAVEONE GOLD GLIDER, notre première lime de mise en forme canalaire à réciprocité, introduite pour compléter la gamme WAVEONE GOLD.
WAVEONE GOLD GLIDER a extrêmement bien été reçue par les cliniciens lors du salon et avec la commercialisation de la marque qui doit commencer en mai 2017, nous nous attendons à des débuts sur les chapeaux de roues et à un succès important tout au long de l’année à venir.
Sous notre marque VDW, les cliniciens ont également eu l’occasion d’essayer notre nouvelle lime R-PILOT, le premier instrument de mise en forme canalaire motorisé à rotation réciproque proposé par VDW.
Encore une fois, les premiers retours étaient extrêmement positifs et avec près de 100 000 € de ventes depuis le lancement, l’équipe VDW mérite bien des applaudissements pour ce début fracassant.

Au niveau mondial, le travail se poursuit en vue de convaincre les utilisateurs de nos marques traditionnelles, telles que ProTaper Universal, d’adopter la nouvelle marque ProTaper Next. ProTaper Gold, ainsi que WaveOne Gold restent disponible pour les utilisateurs qui souhaitent conserver la procédure actuelle. Ce passage des utilisateurs aux nouvelles marques constitue l’un des objectifs clés des équipes chargées de la plateforme d’instruments et du développement des marchés pour 2017. De même, conformément à cet objectif, l’équipe VDW connaît également la réussite avec RECIPROC Blue depuis son lancement qui a eu lieu au troisième trimestre 2016, les ventes du premier trimestre 2017 dépassant déjà celles des deux derniers trimestres 2016.
De plus, l’équipe chargée de la plateforme d’instruments finalise actuellement, sous la direction de Camille D’Halluin, un projet visant à élargir notre gamme de limes manuelles en acier inoxydable M-access. Ainsi, la marque M-access comprend à présent les K-Flexofiles, qui s’ajoutent aux limes K-Files et Hedstroem. M-access a contribué dans une large mesure à stimuler la croissance de la SBU Endodontics sur l’ensemble des marchés offrant des débouchés économiques: la gamme M-access enregistrant une croissance de 26% entre 2015 et 2016. Nous tablons sur des résultats tout aussi solides en 2017. Nos gammes de limes manuelles M-access et READY•STEEL continuent d’afficher des résultats satisfaisants après l’abandon progressif de Colorinox.
Enfin, de manière personnelle, je tiens à vous adresser à tous mes sincères remerciements pour avoir fait en sorte que ma transition de la RCO Moyen-Orient-Afrique du Nord à la SBU Endodontics soit aussi agréable. Il est bon de faire partie de cette équipe gagnante.
