Dentsply Sirona est au milieu d'une transformation avec d'importants changements pour favoriser la croissance, simplifier l'organisation et se concentrer davantage encore sur le client.
Ces derniers mois, les employés ont beaucoup entendu parler du Project Växa. Ce terme suédois signifie « croître ». Ce projet vise à transformer la compagnie en une organisation plus efficace et à exploiter son potentiel de croissance. Les mesures déployées permettent à l'organisation et à ses employés de #OwnOurFuture – chacun aura un rôle à jouer dans la création Dentsply Sirona du futur. Il s'agit de responsabiliser les 16 000 employés en tant que membre d'une seule équipe travaillant pour atteindre des objectifs définis.

Au début de l'année, une transformation a commencé pour devenir une entreprise plus rapide, transparente et centrée. Cela implique une nouvelle structure pour que les unités opérationnelles soient organisées en quatre Dental Product Groups et certains changements au niveau des RCO (Organisation Commerciale Régionale) pour qu'ils se concentrent au niveau régional. Des progrès ont déjà été réalisés, mais il s'agit d'une aventure sur plusieurs années. L’entreprise s’est engagée à apporter 260 millions de dollars d'amélioration à ses actionnaires sur les trois prochaines années, ainsi qu'une augmentation des ventes de 4 %. Mais l'objectif sur le long terme est que cette croissance soit durable. La transformation #OwnOurFuture est entrée dans une nouvelle phase critique en février avec le lancement de Bottom Up Planning (BUP).

Bottom Up Planning est le processus d'identification des initiatives depuis la base, évaluant leur faisabilité et développant des activités commerciales. BUP est inclusif et permet d'avoir plusieurs voix dans le processus. Cette phase consiste à mettre en oeuvre les changements et améliorations pour se concentrer sur le client, favoriser la croissance, améliorer les marges et simplifier les processus. Récemment, la compagnie a organisé trois sessions de lancement Bottom Up Planning à Heidelberg (Allemagne), Charlotte (USA) et Hong Kong. Les participants ont alors découvert les outils requis pour commencer. Ces réunions ont été une réussite. Beaucoup de temps a été dédié au brainstorming, au partage d'idées. Avec les réunions en ligne, des centaines de participants se sont engagés dans le processus, ainsi que leurs équipes.
Les sessions étaient passionnantes. Chacun a pu partager son avis et son expérience. Le nombre d'années de service représentées était impressionnant. Les coachs et animateurs nous incitaient à changer notre mode de pensées. C'est là que les idées les plus intéressantes et productives apparaissent.
Dans sa lettre aux employés du 12 février, le CEO Don Casey signala la création d'un Transformation Office (TO). David Semple est à sa tête et avec l'équipe du Transformation Office et l'Executive Leadership Team, il sera responsable de la transformation. Le Transformation Office est une équipe indépendante qui dirige le processus de changement. Elle doit aussi mobiliser l'organisation en donnant le ton et le rythme de la transformation, en défiant l'immobilisme et en garantissant une collaboration interfonctionnelle. Elle doit aussi garantir un processus rigoureux pour favoriser la responsabilisation.

Qui sera concerné et comment aider ?
Chacun doit être impliqué dans la transformation. Tous les avis comptent et ces changements doivent être effectués ensemble pour être efficaces. Certaines initiatives peuvent changer la façon de travailler.
