The p3 International Program – connecting with KOLs
Les leaders d'opinion jouent un rôle considérable pour leurs confrères du secteur dentaire en tant que porte-parole de confiance et de ce fait de personnes d'influence. Dentsply Sirona, Implants, ainsi que CFAO, Imaging et Lab collaborent à la formation de la future génération de leaders d'opinion des universités et de cliniques privées via le programme international p3.
Il s'agit d'un programme exigeant, où enseignants et étudiants sont animés par le même dévouement, permettant aux professionnels du secteur dentaire d'évoluer personnellement. Les participants à l'édition du Programme p3 de cette année représentent le Brésil, la France, l'Allemagne, l'Italie, les Pays-Bas, la Pologne et l'Espagne .
P3 signifie « Profession, Passion, Power ». Les candidats sont sélectionnés sur leur expérience et leurs connaissances professionnelles cliniques, leur passion pour leur rôle dans les événements publics ou de formation, et leur propre désir de collaboration à long terme avec Dentsply Sirona. Grâce à une série de cinq modules intégrés à un programme de formation intensive d’un an, les participants sont formés non seulement à la communication orale, mais aussi à la photographie dentaire et la rédaction de textes. Le coaching vise à améliorer leur capacité à aborder un sujet et à capter l’attention d’un public. Chaque année, le premier module enseigné à la nouvelle promotion coïncide avec la remise des diplômes de la promotion précédente et le p3 Alumni Forum, qui réunit le groupe international constitué par les diplômés des anciennes promotions ; il s’agit d’une réunion permettant de renforcer le réseau international de Dentsply Sirona. 80 % des diplômés auront des responsabilités sur les programmes régionaux. Depuis 2010, 14 % des diplômés sont déjà impliqués dans des interventions sur des programmes internationaux.

Nous vendons des solutions
Le congrès des prothésistes dentaires aura lieu les 20 et 21 avril 2018 à Francfort- sur-le-Main. Le congrès est un effort de collaboration des SBU Dentsply Sirona : CFAO, Implants, Lab, Endodontics, et Restorative dont l’objectif est d’aider les prothésistes dentaires à se familiariser avec l’avenir de la médecine dentaire et la liberté offerte par la numérisation en créant une passerelle entre médecine dentaire traditionnelle et ère numérique.
La première journée commence par un programme préalable à la conférence où interviendront des personnes du réseau PEERS (Platform for Exchange of Education, Research and Science). Ce programme est spécifiquement conçu pour permettre aux jeunes débutant leur carrière d’échanger leurs expériences. Le programme principal commence l’après-midi. Parmi les temps forts, citons la discussion sur l’Internet et l’impact de la technologie numérique moderne sur l’environnement de travail du technicien. La première journée comprend son lot d’interventions inattendues, notamment avec l’alpiniste Benedikt Böhm, qui expliquera pourquoi le risque, la prise de décision, le leadership, les objectifs, l’auto-discipline, la définition de limites, l’absence de compromis et surtout la légèreté ont une importance cruciale dans la pratique des sports extrêmes, ainsi que dans les affaires, et le futurologue Matthias Horx, qui évoquera les solutions pour remédier au « pessimisme aveugle ».
La deuxième journée portera sur les aspects de la collaboration entre prothésiste et dentiste. L’après-midi, les participants pourront assister à un atelier qui leur permettra de plonger dans le vif de l’un des principaux thèmes du congrès. Le thème tourné vers le futur combiné à la présentation d’un faisceau de solutions pluridisciplinaires, fera assurément le succès du congrès.
Autre exemple de collaboration tirant profit des vastes ressources de Dentsply Sirona : la collaboration entre les SBUOrthodontics et Instruments. Jusqu’à récemment, la SBU Orthodontics proposait Picasso Plus et Picasso Lite Plus à partir de lasers AMD dans son portefeuille produits. Puisque la SBU Instruments fabrique ses propres lasers, la collaboration et le développement d’un nouveau produit ciblant les orthodontistes est devenue évident. Le résultat est Sculpt I.Q.
Le nouveau laser est un dérivé des lasers à diode du portefeuille produits de SBU Instruments, comme SiroLaser Advance Plus. Sculpt I.Q. se distingue de SiroLaser Advance Plus par ses caractéristiques techniques et ses fonctions. L’une des principales fonctions réside dans le fait que Sculpt I.Q. offre une seconde longueur d’ondes (660 nm) en option, alors qu’il s’agit d’une fonction standard du modèle plus cher SiroLaser Advance Plus.
Pour mettre au point une stratégie de produit sur mesure pour le marché américain, André Förster, Instruments Product Manager, a travaillé en collaboration avec son confrère Anthony Vigliotti, Orthodontics Product Manager. La formation clinique et le service après-vente seront assurés par les collègues de Charlotte (U.S.A).
Sculpt I.Q. a été présenté à la National Sales Meeting de Dallas, Texas. Cette conférence s’est tenue du 29 janvier au 2 février 2018.
Nous sommes très fiers d’annoncer que nos collègues de la force de vente Orthodontics peuvent désormais commercialiser et vendre un laser conçu dans un effort collectif au sein Dentsply Sirona et tenant compte des besoins de sa clientèle.
Générer des synergies
Une empreinte globale est la meilleure possibilité d’étendre la production sur les sites de fabrication à capacité optimale. Prenons l’exemple de la décision de délocaliser la production des pièces à main, instruments et accessoires radiologiques dentaires de Dentsply Sirona, sous l’enseigne Midwest, du site Des Plaines à d’autres sites, comme Bensheim et York. La production de turbines sera également transférée à Bensheim. Les séries de turbine à air Midwest Stylus Plus et de contreangles Midwest E Plus sont déjà produites à Bensheim depuis l’été 2016.
Au cours des dernières années, Bensheim a investi dans des lignes de production nouvellement structurées, efficaces écologiquement et dans un équipement sophistiqué pour fabriquer des produits de pointe. Près de 250 ingénieurs et chercheurs travaillent actuellement au centre d’innovation de Bensheim, en faisant une usine de classe mondiale en matière d’innovation technologique dentaire.
Midwest, forte de son histoire et de sa tradition, est une marque établie auprès des dentistes américains. En relocalisant la production de ces produits à Bensheim, Midwest renforce sa marque en offrant le label de qualité « Made in Germany » au marché dentaire américain. Jan Siefert, Group Vice President d’Instruments, affirme : « En unissant nos efforts et en coopérant en interne dans le monde pour employer efficacement nos compétences, nous tenons notre promesse de proposer sans cesse à nos clients des outils et des produits fabriqués pour l’avenir, les aidant ainsi à proposer les meilleurs soins possibles à nos patients.

Dentagen en visite à Bensheim
En septembre 2017, environ 20 représentants de la coopérative d'achats des laboratoires dentaires (Dentagen) ont visité les locaux de Dentsply Sirona à Bensheim afin de discuter et d'en apprendre davantage sur les innovations développées pour le laboratoire avec des utilisateurs expérimentés ainsi qu'avec des experts d'inLab et d'anciennement Prosthetics SBU. En septembre 2017, environ 20 représentants de la coopérative d'achat pour les laboratoires dentaires (Dentagen) ont visité les locaux de Dentsply Sirona à Bensheim afin de discuter et d'en apprendre davantage sur les innovations développées pour les laboratoires avec des utilisateurs expérimentés ainsi qu'avec des experts d'inLab et d'anciennement Prosthetics SBU. En février 2018, la collaboration fructueuse entre le succès de l'activité CFAO de laboratoire et la renommée de l'activité matériaux Dentsply Sirona Prosthetics a culminé lors du lancement du nouveau Lab SBU. Après l'intégration réussie de Dentsply Sirona suite à la fusion, il s'agit de l'étape suivante consécutive visant à poursuivre le développement de nos solutions dentaires combinées dans le secteur des laboratoires dentaires dans l'intérêt de nos employés, nos clients et des patients. La nouvelle SBU sera une composante clé du futur succès de Dentsply Sirona et de tous les employés. C'est la preuve vivante des avantages générés par la fusion et cette mesure continue de donner forme à notre Équipe Mondiale.
Une table ronde a donné l'opportunité aux visiteurs de Dentagen de poser des questions aussi bien aux représentants de Dentsply Sirona qu'aux utilisateurs finaux sur les flux de travail dentaires modernes et l'imagerie numérique en particulier. Il y a également eu des questions sur les matériaux haute-performance tels que Celtra Duo et Cercon xt. Après avoir discuté des solutions complètes du cabinet au laboratoire proposées par Dentsply Sirona impliquant des processus numériques, les visiteurs visité l'usine. Le groupe a donc eu l'occasion de voir les processus de production de près et d'avoir un bon aperçu du processus de développement. Bensheim étant le site de développement et de production du système inLab, ce fut l'occasion d'expliquer comment l'entreprise fournit aux laboratoires des possibilités CFAO étendues.
Dentsply Sirona est en mesure de fournir aux techniciens dentaires tout ce dont ils ont besoin et les visiteurs sont repartis après avoir mieux compris les produits ainsi que les processus qui font partie de leur développement.
