Rodrigo Canelhas has been appointed as Vice President, General Manager, Latin America. In this role, Rodrigo will lead the Dentsply Sirona commercial business and teams in the Latin America region. This change will be effective April 1.
Felipe Saenz Country Commercial Leader for the North and South Cone regions of South America, and Ernesto Garcia, Country Commercial Leader for Mexico will report to Rodrigo. The Commercial leadership team in Brazil will also continue to report directly to Rodrigo in his new role. Rodrigo will report directly to Greg Sheehan, Group Vice President Americas Regional Commercial Organization.
Rodrigo joined Dentsply Sirona in 2010. He was the founder of Sirona Brazil and a key contributor to Sirona's growth in the South America region over the past six years. He also established Sirona as a Market leader in the CAD/CAM , x-ray and premium Treatment Centers segments. Furthermore, he is a leading contributor to developing a strong unified company culture in the DS Brazil Commercial team.
Ernesto joined Dentsply Sirona in 1988 as a sales representative. He was promoted to National Sales Manager and subsequently to General Manager of the Dentsply Mexico operations. Over the past decades, he has delivered strong results, received many sales and excellence awards and established a successful dual distribution strategy. As a result of his commitment, Dentsply Mexico is recognized by many leading universities as the company with the best Clinical Education programs.
Felipe is responsible for Colombia and the North Cone sales teams. Since 2012 Felipe has demonstrated strong leadership skills, growing the business over the last years. Earlier in his career Felipe has worked for Cartier – Motta International as a General Manager, Motorola as their Regional Retail and Trade Marketing Manager for Latin America, and spent a number of years with British America Tabaco as Trade Marketing Manager.
Christof joined Dentsply Sirona in 2003 and since then has held various positions in sales including Sales Manager Instruments, Area Sales Manager Scandinavia and recently Country Manager for Canada. During his tenure as the leader of the former Dentsply Sirona business in Canada, he and his team received several awards for exceeding sales and performance objectives.
