El Proyecto Växa es la estrategia para transformarse en una organización más eficiente y aprovechar todo su potencial de crecimiento. Las iniciativas que se están haciendo permiten a la organización y a sus empleados a #OwnOurFuture – que significa que todos tendrán algo que ver en la creación de Dentsply Sirona del futuro. Se trata de empoderar a los 16,000 empleados como parte de un equipo que trabaja hacia un grupo común de objetivos.

A principios de año se inició una transformación para crear una empresa más rápida, más transparente y enfocada. Incluyendo una nueva estructura para las unidades de negocio que se organizarán en cuatro Dental Product Groups y algunos cambios en las RCO para enfocarse más en la región. Aunque se ha avanzado mucho, es un camino de varios años. La Compañía se ha comprometido a $260 millones en mejoras para los accionistas en los próximos tres años, y un crecimiento en ventas del 4%. Pero el objetivo a largo plazo es lograr un crecimiento sostenible. La transformación de #OwnOurFuture entró en una nueva fase crítica en febrero con el lanzamiento de Bottom Up Planning (BUP).

¿Qué es BUP?
Es importante que los compañeros se comprometan en la evaluación e implementación de los cambios necesarios para esta transformación. Bottom Up Planning es el proceso de identificar iniciativas desde la base, evaluar su viabilidad y desarrollar casos de negocio. BUP es inclusivo y empodera a más voces para ser parte del proceso. En esta fase se trata de implementar cambios y mejoras para centrarse en el cliente, impulsar el crecimiento, mejorar los márgenes y facilitar los procesos. Sencillamente, cambiará la forma como se trabaja en Dentsply Sirona.

La compañía tuvo tres sesiones de lanzamiento de Bottom Up Planning en Heidelberg (Alemania), Charlotte (EE.UU.) y Hong Kong. Los participantes se reunieron para aprender las herramientas necesarias para empezar. Estas reuniones fueron muy exitosas, dedicaron mucho tiempo al intercambio y lluvia de ideas. Además de varias juntas en línea, cientos de empleados han participado en el proceso y, a su vez, han involucrado a sus equipos.

En carta del CEO, Don Casey, a los empleados el 12 de febrero, señaló la creación de una Transformation Office (TO). David Semple dirige esta nueva función, junto con el equipo de la Transformation Office y el Equipo de Liderazgo Ejecutivo, serán responsables de la transformación. La TO actúa como equipo independiente generando el proceso de cambio. Este equipo también se encargará de movilizar a la organización marcando el ritmo y el tono de la transformación, retando la situación actual y asegurando la colaboración interfuncional. También están asegurando un proceso estricto para impulsar la responsabilidad.
