As the MENA team embarks on 2020 we asked our leaders what is important to them this year. As this is a big year to get the team and region geared up for the second leg of its business maturity.
In 2016 the teams merged, and between 2017 and 2019 the focus was on building a foundation. As the organization has grown, so has the growth of the team and the region.
This is the focus of our Leadership Team as part of their Goals, Mission, Vision and Values.
What is important is the Leadership Thinking of each and every person in MENA and not only the leaders.
It is about growing the region where every team member thinks of their role as if they are running their own business. The way we do this is by running a team where we develop the sales team to be streamlined and focused on the customer, through systemic training and a proper coaching plan .
We believe the next phase is important in our growth strategy and understanding our markets and that we will ensure the right people to get us there.
Anchoring our current success and making sure infrastructure is ready for the next growth. Making Dentsply Sirona visible and reachable for our customers, by extending the two way communication channels of Sales, Marketing and Education. Growing the team for better product and market coverage. Increase the focus and productivity of our team by streamlining the communications and workflow.
Growth in all our lines and increase our market share. Work as one team for the whole portfolio. Focus on people development as they are the real investment. Build strong real & strong relationship with our dealer & customer. Focus on after sales service not only just sales.
The focus is on Collaboration and creating synergies within the team to embody, One Customer and One Team. Aligning what we do in the Mission and Vision of the organization. Strengthening the team , which would in turn strengthen our sales.
The Focus is on Growth, Growth and more Growth, however more particularly, to grow and increase our market footprint, to grow our Implants business and to grow our CAD/CAM business. All the above will be done in conjunction with a collaborated strong and diverse team.

Consolidate the marketing team - Welcome and integrate the product specialists team and Capitalize on people development and empower them for faster and business-oriented decisions. Accelerate demand generation to support growth and leverage synergies - Education: structure clinical education for all DPG under one process and improve its connection with sales. Training : ensure all salesforce (DS and dealers) receive the appropriate training on our portfolio. SFDC : enforce Salesforce as the only tool for customer information and improve our customer knowledge and targeting. Digital : enlarge our reach above our sales reps and customize more and more our messaging. Prioritize sales, education and marketing support on profitable opportunities for MENA (endodontic, restorative, implants, Imaging and CAD/CAM)
To ensure a smooth transition within the Finance Transformation within the organization and how this will impact the team and business. Ensuring processes and systems are streamlined. Ensuring proper change management with our people. Ensuring as little impact on the business and a more focused business.
The focus for HR will be; Ensuring a smooth transition within the next 18 months on the role of HR as the business changes and to communicate those changes to our business partners for a more streamlined process. To continuously work towards an Employer of Choice status in the region and gear the regions readiness , through strong people measurements which boosts the growth of the region. To support the business in their transitions and ensure as limited impact on the region as possible in partnering with the leaders to support their growth goals.
The focus for the leadership team should be to collaborate together and work towards the Growth of the Region. We need to work together aligned as ONE team. We need to focus on our people and empower them, provide them adequate trainings and grow them within the company. Transparency about the changes within the company and help the people adapt to the changes. Refocus and reinforce the Mission and Vision of DS.
